Job summary

Nedap is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Vilvoorde to resolve complex tickets and train customers on access control solutions. You will work with networks, software, and hardware to diagnose issues and provide clear, actionable guidance.

You will combine technical investigation with effective communication, helping customers understand the technology and empowering them to handle more questions independently. The role requires collaboration across international teams and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Around three years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
• Networking skills across TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routers and ports, and how they interact with software, hardware, and IT infrastructure.
• Clear communication and training skills; ability to explain technical topics in an accessible way.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Investigate technical questions from partners and customers, identify causes, and follow through to a solution while keeping people informed.
• Prepare and deliver practical training that helps customers understand Nedap solutions.
• Explore how networks, IT infrastructure, software, and hardware interact to diagnose issues.
• Turn recurring questions and solutions into clear documentation for customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Test new functionality and share insights to help colleagues improve.
