Downer is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Victoria's Hume region. You will manage maintenance activities, lead diverse teams and ensure zero-harm safety, cost efficiency and quality compliance across projects.

The role demands strong planning, scheduling, and coordination capabilities, with proven civil infrastructure project experience and a focus on collaboration with subcontractors and site staff.

Qualifications

• Experience managing civil infrastructure projects with emphasis on resource planning and scheduling.
• Involvement in tender preparation and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of maintenance activities across victoria's Hume region to meet contract specs.
• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, Supervisors, labour, subcontractors and on-site admin staff.
• Uphold Zero Harm, safety, cost and quality targets across all activities.
