Job summary

National Networks Plus (NNP) is expanding its youth support teams in the Ipswich region and invites applicants with a passion for helping others in health or community settings. This is a youth worker position within a Not-for-Profit staffing framework.

Requirements include a Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or related field), current First Aid/CPR, Working with Children checks, NDIS screening, and two supervisor references; valid Australian driver's license and car insurance are

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or related field (e.g. Disability, Mental Health) - or working toward.
• Hope & Healing Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
• Current Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
• 2 professional supervisor references
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's License
• Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and coordinating with authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
• Contribute to delivering high quality care and support with the team.
