Job summary

Save the Children Australia is seeking a Youth Support Specialist in Mount Isa for a full-time temporary position within the Bail Response Program. You will work alongside the team to deliver high-quality service delivery, support young people and families, and help them meet bail conditions to re-engage with work or learning.

In this Full-time temporary position. You'll work as a part of our Bail Response Program team in Mount Isa to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.

You will make a difference by:

• Provision of quality service delivery
• Provide positive healthy relationships and Engagement with young people and families
• Facilitate positive Stakeholder relationship management to support young people.
• Case planning, Monitoring and evaluation of goal setting outcomes

This role requires:

• Develop case management plans for clients, using a strength-based trauma-informed approach
• Facilitate activities designed to increase young people's social and emotional wellbeing, life skills and education attainment
• Provide timely referrals and promote/facilitate access to other services
• Implement behavioral management strategies in line with Save the Children's youth work principles and as directed by the Team Leader
