Job summary

The City of Rockingham is offering a permanent full-time role leading the Youth Development team at the Rockingham Youth Centre. You will design programs, oversee staff, and partner with schools and community groups to engage young people across the City.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to a youth development team delivering programs and services for local young people.
• Diverse Programs: Oversee youth programs, events, and activities including workshops and school holiday initiatives.
• Engage & Empower: Facilitate youth engagement with schools, partners, and the community to amplify youth voice.
• Facility Management: Activate and manage the City’s Youth Centre as a hub of activity and engagement.
• Professional Growth: Support training, development, and career progression within the team.
