Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a Youth Activities Officer to support the Julia Reserve Youth Centre programs for youths aged 12-25. The role is temporary, part-time, 14 hours per week, with a focus on organised activities and community wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant certificate or experience with youth services, strong communication, and a commitment to child safety. A First Aid certificate and NSW Working with Children Check are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate level qualification in Youth Services, Community Services or relevant field.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
• Current C Class Drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of youth programs, activities or services engaging 12-25 year-olds.
• Build positive relationships with young people and connect them with information and support services.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and adhere to child safety guidelines.
