Job summary

Police Citizens Youth Club NSW – Campbelltown NSW is seeking a Senior Youth Program Activities Officer to lead sport activities and programs in schools. This part-time role suits those new to the industry or experienced in sport, recreation and youth engagement, with a focus on positive community impact.

You will coach and mentor young people, deliver engaging activities, and maintain records of program outcomes while contributing to flexible workplace arrangements and not-for-profit benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering youth sport programs and activities.
• Ability to facilitate both group sessions and one-on-one mentoring.
• Strong admin skills with timely reporting.
• Coaching accreditation or similar experience.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe activities and programs.
• Build program lesson plans inline with program outcomes.
• Facilitate engaging group sport or physical activity.
• Deliver both group facilitation and one-on-one mentoring sessions.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic people to join our PCYC Team. A Senior Youth Program Activities Officer has a varied and flexible role, leading sport activities and programs in Schools. Whether you are new to the industry wanting to build your skills or you are experienced in sport, recreation and youth engagement roles, if you are passionate about making a life changing difference in your community, then this is the opportunity for you!

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Youth Programs team to provide positive experiences to young people.In this varied and flexible role, classified as a Senior General Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and mentoring young people, and:

• Facilitate engaging group sport or physical activity
• Deliver both group facilitation and one on one mentoring sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely records and reporting of program outcomes

About You

• Skills and experience in delivering programs and physical activity sessions
• Experience facilitating to groups of young people as well as one on one
• Strong administrative skills and ability to provide reporting in a timely fashion
• Coaching accreditation or similar experience
• First Aid certification, CPR Certification and/or Cert 1 in Sports Management, Coaching or Gymnastics
• Reliable and trustworthy person
• Positive role model, collaborative and young person centred
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check (essential)
