Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct has reopened and right now, we're offering a $10K relocation allowance for candidates who move to within an hour's drive of our facility close to the picturesque town centre.
As a youth justice worker, you will guide young people in custody through rehabilitation by modelling positive behaviour and engaging them in programs to build life and work skills.
This is a frontline custodial role in a youth detention facility where you will also promote important security procedures.
Your work will help young people get their lives back on track by:
maintaining safety and security
establishing healthy routines
setting clear boundaries and redirecting challenging behaviour
responding to incidents
helping them develop positive relationships
facilitating support from health and mental health providers.
