Department: Frank Baxter YJC in Kariong, NSW, is hiring a Youth Officer on a casual basis for a 24/7 roster. The role includes 5 weeks of paid induction training and shifts with penalties and allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum NSW P2 Driver Licence.
• Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain.
• Working With Children Check clearance.
• Ability to pass medical, fitness, and criminal history checks.
• Availability to complete 5 weeks of full-time training (ITAP).

• Support daily routines, wellbeing, and personal development of young people.
• Encourage participation in education, vocational and recreational programs.
• Act as a positive role model and guide behaviour change.
• Respond calmly to challenging situations and maintain safety.
• Complete reports and maintain accurate records.
