Department: Frank Baxter YJC – Kariong NSW is seeking Court Logistics Youth Officers for a casual, temporary intake starting Feb 2027. This frontline role transports young offenders, supports them in custody and at court, and requires resilience, calm under pressure, and strong communication.

Five weeks of paid, full-time ITAP induction training will be provided at Yasmar Training Facilities, with shifts Monday to Friday and possible weekends.

Aufgaben

• Supervise young people in custody at various court locations and during transportation.
• Respond to challenging situations and maintain a safe environment for youth and staff.
• Avert risk and solve problems; reinforce boundaries and behaviours through pro-social modelling.
• Follow department policies, procedures and local court processes to assist youth understanding of the court process.
• Communicate effectively with others and stay calm in high-pressure environments.
