The Y WA in Western Australia is seeking a Youth Engagement Officer to help deliver engaging, inclusive recreational activities for young people across Kalgoorlie and the Goldfields. You will plan and facilitate programs, collaborate with Youth Workers, and foster positive relationships while ensuring safe, supportive environments.

Offering a strong hourly rate, remote allowance, and staff benefits, this role contributes to a local community hub that supports youth development and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to engage youth aged 6–26 in social and recreational activities.
• Willingness to work afternoon shifts and occasional evenings.

Responsabilités

• Support Youth Services to plan and run engaging social programs for 6–26 year olds in the Goldfields.
• Facilitate activities, build confidence and strengthen community connections.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and complete admin tasks while upholding safeguarding policies.
