Job summary

The BUSY School in Salisbury invites an Engagement Officer to build trusted relationships with students, families and partners, supporting attendance, participation and wellbeing while guiding pathway opportunities into education, employment and life.

You will work closely with students, school staff and external providers to maintain strong engagement, accurate records and successful transitions for Year 11 and 12 students across Queensland campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, youth support, education or employment services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team.
• Current Working with Children clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support student attendance and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and carers.
• Liaise with employers, training organisations and external support services.
• Maintain accurate student records and case notes.
• Support enrolment, retention and transition activities.
• Assist with work experience, VET and pathway-related administration.
• Provide administrative support across the campus as required.
• Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive school culture.
