YMCA of Northern Territory Community Services is seeking a Youth Worker for the Katherine Youth Centre to engage and support young people in safe, inclusive programs. You will supervise activities, complete daily tasks, and ensure safeguarding and WHS compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting youth in community programs.
• Commitment to child safety and WHS policies.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Support your team and encourage participation in programs for young people.
• Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with young people; promote a safe, inclusive environment.
• Communicate clearly with supervisor, team leader and manager; provide feedback on programs and youth engagement, child safety, and WHS concerns.
• Complete daily tasks as directed; help maintain a clean, well-presented environment during daily programs.
• Uphold daily reporting requirements; understand YNT’s youth programs and objectives.
