Job summary

The BUSY School is preparing to open its new Hobart campus in January 2027, and we're seeking an Employment Pathways Officer to join our foundation team.

This role will help young people transition from school into employment, apprenticeships, traineeships and further education by developing individual pathway plans and connecting them with meaningful opportunities that build confidence and real-world skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services or workforce development.
• Ability to build industry partnerships and networks.
• Proven track record of improving employment or education outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop individual pathway plans for students.
• Establish strong employer and training-provider partnerships.
• Coordinate work experience, placements and industry engagement.
• Support student transitions to employment, apprenticeships and further study.
• Maintain records and report on pathway outcomes.
