Job summary

Workskills Tasmania is seeking passionate Youth Employment Coaches to inspire young people aged 15-24 toward employment. These full-time roles are across multiple sites in southern Tasmania and beyond, with a flexible working arrangement including an optional work-from-home day.

You will deliver one-on-one coaching and group sessions, collaborate with internal and external services, manage caseloads, and contribute to team targets while upholding a strengths-based, client-centred approach that

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and the ability to prioritise work.
• Ability to deliver strengths-based, client-centred approaches to youth development.
• Experience developing case management plans and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration with partner services.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-on-one coaching and group sessions to help young people build confidence and skills for work and education.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external services to offer targeted support (mental health, driving lessons, training, work placements).
• Manage a caseload of participants and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to individual and team performance targets aligned with our mission.
