3Bridges is seeking a Youth Development Worker to support students aged 11–18 within secondary schools. You will deliver early intervention, 1:1 casework, and wellbeing programs, collaborating with families, teachers, and community partners to promote resilience and engagement in education.

The role is full-time and fixed-term until December 2027, with competitive salary plus super, salary packaging and leave entitlements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Human Services discipline; Cert IV/Diploma accepted with experience
• 2+ years' experience working with children and young people (11–18)
• Knowledge of NSW school systems and safeguarding requirements
• NSW Working with Children Check and willingness to obtain First Aid/ CPR

Aufgaben

• Provide evidence-informed 1:1 support and case management to young people
• Manage a caseload and support goal achievement
• Use strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches
• Facilitate targeted early-intervention and wellbeing programs
• Connect young people with services and referrals
• Build relationships with students, families, teachers and wellbeing teams
• Contribute to school wellbeing events and parent engagement
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation
• Meet child protection and safeguarding requirements
