Job summary

headspace Dubbo is seeking a Youth Care Coordinator on Wiradjuri Country to support young people’s mental health. You will conduct psychosocial assessments and tailor interventions, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications (or working towards) in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, drug and alcohol work, youth work, mental health, or other relevant fields.
• Experience in conducting clinical assessments of young people facing mental health or substance challenges.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and screenings for young people referred to headspace.
• Foster long-term engagement with clients, ensuring they receive the care they need.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive the ongoing success of the centre.

What do you need?
