Job summary

Uniting Vic.Tas is hiring a Youth Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Worker in a casual role at Warrenheip, Ballarat. You will support young people seeking voluntary withdrawal and respite, offering compassionate, client-centered care and facilitating access to services.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Nursing or allied health.
• Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or willingness to complete within 12 months.
• Knowledge of dual diagnosis and related services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered support to young people seeking voluntary withdrawal and/or respite.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and culturally inclusive environment for wellbeing and recovery goals.
• Connect clients with appropriate services and ongoing care.
