Job summary

headspace Bega, led by Grand Pacific Health Ltd, is looking for a Youth Access Worker to be the first point of contact for young people aged 12–25. You will assess needs, triage, make referrals and provide early intervention counselling and support where appropriate.

This part-time, fixed-term backfill runs until 20 July 2027. The role offers flexible work arrangements, ongoing professional development, salary packaging up to $15,900 plus meals and entertainment, and access to an Employee

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant field or working towards related qualifications.
• Ability to engage with young people and communicate effectively.
• Ability to undertake assessment and screening to determine care needs and access services.
• Experience providing counselling to young people.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for young people and families seeking support.
• Assess and triage to identify needs and referrals.
