Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is recruiting a Youth Access Team Clinician for headspace Mount Druitt to join a multidisciplinary team delivering early intervention services to young people aged 12–25. You will be the first point of contact, conducting intake and assessments and coordinating care to support recovery.

You will work alongside GPs and allied health staff, develop person-centred care plans, and connect clients with brief interventions and relevant services to help them on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in intake and psychosocial assessments.
• Ability to develop collaborative care plans with a biopsychosocial focus.
• Experience delivering evidence‑based interventions.
• Strong collaboration with GPs and allied health providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and psychosocial assessments, including complex risk evaluations.
• Develop collaborative care plans aligned with a young person’s goals.
• Provide brief interventions and link clients to appropriate services.
• Work in close partnership with GPs, allied health clinicians and support workers.
• Foster collaborative relationships with external youth services.
