Job summary

headspace Mount Druitt is seeking Private Practitioners to provide high-quality Medicare-funded clinical services to young people aged 12–25. The role offers flexible private practice from 1 to 5 days per week and autonomy within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will assess, plan treatments and deliver evidence-based interventions, with full administrative support and access to Medicare-funded referrals.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical or General Psychologist.
• Eligibility to provide services under Medicare.
• Experience delivering psychological/therapeutic interventions.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and positive client outcomes.
• Flexible and solutions-focused approach.
• An ABN or willingness to obtain one, with appropriate professional insurance.
• Relevant criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

headspace Mount Druitt is seeking motivated Private Practitioners to provide high-quality, evidence-based Medicare-funded clinical services to young people aged 12–25.

This flexible opportunity can be tailored to your availability, from 1 to 5 days per week. You’ll work autonomously while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment planning and psychological interventions

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Its mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social well-being and economic participation of young Australians aged 12-25 years. To this end, headspace aims to be the focal point for youth mental health issues across the country.

Essential Criteria

You will have:

• Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical or General Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker (AASW), or Better Access Endorsed Occupational Therapist (OTA)
• Eligibility to provide services under Medicare
• Experience delivering psychological/therapeutic interventions
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and positive client outcomes
• A flexible and solutions-focused approach
• An ABN or willingness to obtain one, with appropriate professional insurance
• Relevant criminal history checks
