Coxons Group Australia in Singleton is seeking a Yardperson to support the Storeperson and Operations Team. You will maintain laydown areas, load and unload goods, transfer components between bays, and deliver items across site, working closely with the Storeperson and Leading Hand.

The role requires at least 2 years in a yard or similar environment, forklift and MR truck licenses, and a strong commitment to health and safety, with reliable and punctual work habits.

Qualifications

• Forklift and MR truck operation must be done safely and efficiently.
• Candidates should follow procedures and directions consistently.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a busy yard.
• Good written and verbal communication is essential.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality are required.

About the Role

Working closely with the Storeperson and Leading Hand, the successful candidate be responsible for:

• Maintaining the laydown areas
• Loading and unloading goods
• Transferring components between bays
• Collecting and delivering goods
• Safe operation of forklift and MR truck

About You

You are a positive contributor and team player. You are a team player, motivated and organised.We're looking for someone who has:

• A strong commitment to health and safety
• At least 2 years of experience as a Yardperson.
• Forklift license
• MR truck license
• The ability to follow procedures and directions
• The ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication
• Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work
• A strong work ethic and is reliable and punctual
