Job summary

Onsite Rental Group in Melbourne is seeking a reliable team member to join our on-site crew. The role involves cleaning portable buildings and toilet blocks, performing basic repairs, and assisting with refurbishments and upgrades.

You will work in a hands-on environment that values safety and teamwork. The position is full-time with core hours typically 7:00am to 3:06pm, offering on-site parking and access to employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Handyman experience with basic maintenance tasks preferred.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport required.
• Experience with cleaning or labouring roles is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Clean portable buildings and toilet blocks using provided equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on portable buildings, including flooring, doors and trims.
• Pack furniture and accessories for transport and ensure items are secure.
• Assist trades with refurbishments and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader, your role will be to:

• Clean portable buildings, including portable toilet blocks using equipment and supplies provided
• Complete basis repair & maintenance tasks on portable buildings, including toilet blocks; repair & seal flooring, replace trim, paint and patch walls, basic plumbing, replace doors & locks etc.
• Securely pack furniture & accessories in portables buildings for transport including tables, chairs, desks, fridges, microwaves etc.
• Undertake general housekeeping and yard duties to ensure a safe, clean and well organised work environment.
• Assisting qualified trades with portable building refurbishments and upgrades where necessary.

• Current driver's licence & reliable transport
• Handyman experience, including use of power tools (desirable)
