Job summary

Frizelle Sunshine Automotive on the Gold Coast is seeking a Yardperson for the Used Vehicles team at our Ashmore dealership. You will prepare vehicles for handover and help maintain the yard.

You will work with sales and delivery teams, move vehicles, detail as needed, and keep a clean, safe yard. This is a permanent, full-time role with opportunities to grow within Queensland's established automotive group.

Qualifications

• A current, valid driver's licence is essential.
• Previous detailing or car care experience is an advantage.
• Reliability and punctuality are important because the delivery schedule depends on the yard team being ready.
• You work well as part of a team and communicate clearly across departments.
• A positive attitude toward physical, outdoor work suits this role well.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new vehicles to a high standard, including washing, polishing, and detailing so every handover looks great.
• Move and organise vehicles across the yard to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Fit accessories and apply protective products as directed, exposing you to a range of makes and models.
• Work closely with the sales and delivery teams so your contribution supports the overall customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area that reflects the team's standards.

As the last hands on a vehicle before it reaches a customer, your work has a direct and visible impact on one of the most exciting purchases in that person's life.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing new vehicles to a high standard, including washing, polishing, and detailing so every handover makes a strong first impression
• Moving and organising vehicles across the yard to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently
• Fitting accessories and applying protective products as directed, giving you exposure to a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Working closely with the sales and delivery teams so you understand how your contribution feeds into the bigger customer experience
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work area that reflects the standards the team holds itself to
