Programmed is seeking a reliable Yardman / Driver (Pre-Delivery Inspector) in Truganina. Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections, identifying damage and faults, and assisting with yard duties. Must hold a current driver's licence and be comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles.

Role is an ongoing casual assignment with Monday to Friday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility with start times and potential weekend work.

Competenze

• Experience in vehicle inspections or automotive preferred.
• Must have current valid driver's licence.
• Willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Mansioni

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on vehicles.
• Inspect exteriors for scratches, dents, paint damage and other defects.
• Check interiors, including upholstery and seat belts.
• Test vehicle functionality: radios, dashboard, A/C, windows, locks and lights.
• Check fluids, leaks and tyre condition.
• Identify and report any damage or faults.
• Move and position vehicles within the yard.
• Assist with general yard and vehicle handling duties.

Programmed is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yardman / Driver (Pre-Delivery Inspector) to join a leading vehicle logistics company based in Truganina.

This is an ongoing, Monday to Friday opportunity based in Truganina. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting pre-delivery vehicle inspections, identifying any damage or faults, and assisting with general yard duties.

What's on offer

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility with earlier start times)
• Employment: Ongoing casual assignment
• Weekend work may be available
• Opportunity to work within an established vehicle logistics operation

About your new role

• Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on vehicles.
• Inspecting vehicle exteriors for scratches, dents, paint damage and other defects.
• Checking vehicle interiors, including upholstery, seat belts and general condition.
• Testing vehicle functionality, including radios, dashboard systems, air conditioning, windows, locks and lights.
• Checking under the bonnet and vehicle for fluid leaks and ensuring fluid levels are appropriate.
• Checking tyre condition and pressure.
• Identifying and reporting any damage, defects or mechanical issues.
• Moving and positioning vehicles within the yard as required.
• Assisting with general yard and vehicle handling duties.

About you

• Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in cars and vehicles.
• Previous experience in vehicle inspections, automotive, mechanical work or vehicle logistics (preferred).
• Must have experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Confident and competent driving a range of vehicles.
• Comfortable inspecting vehicles and identifying potential faults or damage.
• Basic understanding of vehicle components, functionality and maintenance.
• Comfortable working around vehicles and within a busy yard environment.
• Current and valid driver's licence.
• Able to provide a Driving History Record.
• Willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
