Job summary

Programmed is seeking a reliable Yardman / Driver (Pre-Delivery Inspector) in Truganina. Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections, identifying damage and faults, and assisting with yard duties. Must hold a current driver's licence and be comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles.

Role is an ongoing casual assignment with Monday to Friday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility with start times and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle inspections or automotive preferred.
• Must have current valid driver's licence.
• Willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on vehicles.
• Inspect exteriors for scratches, dents, paint damage and other defects.
• Check interiors, including upholstery and seat belts.
• Test vehicle functionality: radios, dashboard, A/C, windows, locks and lights.
• Check fluids, leaks and tyre condition.
• Identify and report any damage or faults.
• Move and position vehicles within the yard.
• Assist with general yard and vehicle handling duties.
