Job summary

Border Express Pty Ltd in Cranbourne West is seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our busy team. You will be responsible for Tug driving, moving trailers, unloading and freight movements, and ensuring safe trailer handling.

This full-time, permanent role offers a shift-loaded rate of $38.54 per hour plus super, onsite parking, and consistent weekly pay. You will work Monday to Friday, 4am starts, with home every night and a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• MC licence with a minimum of 12 months driving MCs.

Responsibilities

• TUG driving, moving trailers around the depot and unloading/moving freight when required.
• Manoeuvre and reverse trailers into bays/docks.
• Perform pre-move trailer inspections and report damages.
• Position local yard equipment per operations plan.
• Adhere to load restraint, DG codes, fatigue management and road laws.

Duties:

TUG driving, moving trailers around the depot and helping with unloading and moving of freight if required.

Manouvre and reverse trailers through the depot and into allocated bays & docks.

Perform visual inspections of each trailer's condition before moving and report any damages or concerns to your supervisor.

Ensure that local yard equipment is positioned effectively in accordance with operational requirements.

Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guidelines, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations.

Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading and movement of freight in accordance with company & statutory guidelines.

Skills and Experience:

MC Licence with a minimum of 12 months experience driving MCs.

Excellent Driver History Report.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Willingness to complete a Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical.
