Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services seeks a Transportation Specialist at the Heathwood, Queensland site to coordinate on-site yard activities and driver movements. You will manage end-of-shift reporting, liaise with dock teams and NOC, and drive safety and efficiency across the yard.

You will work a primarily night-shift pattern, 38 hours per week, with virtual coaching from your manager and occasional on-site support. Strong data skills and collaboration with carriers are essential.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Availability to work 38+ hours per week.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute daily End of Shift reports detailing inbound/outbound loads and actions.
• Coordinate with outbound dock team and NOC to provide delay reasons.
• Lead on-site yard safety, investigations and defects reviews.
• Coordinate with multiple carriers and on-site escalations and weather disruptions.
• Develop and communicate daily load plans and changes to stakeholders.
• Monitor operations to ensure trailers arrive and depart on time.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources to generate reports and identify patterns.
• Engage drivers to maintain yard safety and reduce delays.
• Use SSP, FMC, and YMS for data gathering and reporting.
