Job summary

CDC NSW is seeking a reliable Yard Person to join the St Marys Charter Depot team. Full-time, afternoon shift from 12:00 pm to 20:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work.

You will refuel buses, perform routine checks, support basic maintenance, keep the depot yard tidy, and coordinate with subcontractors. Essential: Heavy Vehicle Licence, Driver Authority, WWCC.

You’ll work in a busy, hands-on environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: Current Heavy Vehicle Licence.
• Essential requirements: Current Driver Authority (DA).
• Essential requirements: Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Refuelling buses and completing routine checks, including oil and coolant levels.
• Supporting basic vehicle maintenance and reporting faults promptly.
• Keeping the depot yard clean, safe and organised, including parking buses efficiently.
• Washing bus exteriors and cleaning interiors when required.
• Coordinating with subcontractors attending the depot.
• Providing driver relief when required to support charter services.
