Job summary

ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia is seeking a reliable Yard Person for the St Marys Charter Depot, Sydney. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role on an afternoon shift from 12:00 pm to 20:30 pm, designed to keep our charter fleet moving and well-organised.

You will refuel buses, perform routine checks, support basic vehicle maintenance, keep the depot yard tidy, wash exteriors and interiors when needed, coordinate with subcontractors, and provide driver relief to support charter services.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable, hands-on approach and safety awareness.
• Essential: Heavy Vehicle Licence, Driver Authority (DA) and WWCC.

Responsibilities

• Refuel buses and perform routine checks (oil/coolant).
• Support basic vehicle maintenance and promptly report faults.
• Keep the depot yard clean, safe and organised; park buses efficiently.
• Wash bus exteriors and clean interiors when required.
• Coordinate with subcontractors attending the depot.
• Provide driver relief to support charter services.

CDC NSW is looking for a reliable, hands-on and safety-focused Yard Person to join our team at the St Marys Charter Depot.

If you enjoy practical work, take pride in keeping things organised and can turn your hand to a variety of tasks, this is a great opportunity to play an important role in supporting our daily charter operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Refuelling buses and completing routine checks, including oil and coolant levels.
• Supporting basic vehicle maintenance and reporting faults promptly.
• Keeping the depot yard clean, safe and organised, including parking buses efficiently.
• Washing bus exteriors and cleaning interiors when required.
• Coordinating with subcontractors attending the depot.
• Providing driver relief when required to support charter services.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is dependable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment. You'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational abilities and sound computer skills.

Essential requirements:

• Current Heavy Vehicle Licence.
• Current Driver Authority (DA).
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
