Job summary

CDC NSW at the St Marys Charter Depot is seeking a reliable Yard Person for a full-time afternoon shift. You will refuel buses, perform routine checks and assist with basic maintenance while keeping the depot yard organised.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, wash exteriors and support driver relief as needed. Essential credentials include a heavy vehicle licence, Driver Authority and WWCC; strong communication and practical, hands-on skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current Heavy Vehicle Licence.
• Current Driver Authority (DA).
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Refuelling buses and performing routine checks, including oil and coolant levels.
• Supporting basic vehicle maintenance and reporting faults promptly.
• Keeping the depot yard clean, safe and organised, including parking buses efficiently.
• Washing bus exteriors and cleaning interiors when required.
• Coordinating with subcontractors attending the depot.
• Providing driver relief when required to support charter services.
