Job summary

Lyndons Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Yard/Operations role at our Caboolture, QLD site. You will contribute to daily yard productivity, safety, and efficient handling of materials and customer orders in a long-standing Australian family business.

Job description

We see your role as one of the most critical roles for our business. You will be responsible for the productivity of the yard on a day-to-day basis and ensuring the operational and hands-on tasks are performed in a successful manner.

This position will be based at our Caboolture branch.

Responsibilities include:

Operation

Helping with deliveries – loading and unloading trucks

Keeping the yard clean, safe, and organised

Organise and store materials in the yard safely and neatly

Pick and prepare orders for dispatch to customers

Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflow

Workplace Health and Safety

• Take responsibilities on behalf of the organisation, but must also comply with requirements as workers, including:
• Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures
• Maintain relevant knowledge of WHS issues
• Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours
