RB Global, Inc. seeks an Assistant Yard Manager to support the Yard Manager in ensuring the main auction site and off-site locations run smoothly and safely in Sydney.

You will coordinate site preparation, auction ramp and loading ramp, oversee yard layout and equipment line-up, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies. • Experience with EH&S standards and compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machinery.
• Experience in inventory management and stock control.
• Experience supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with industrial or agricultural equipment.
• Cost management experience preferred.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills and software literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate site preparation, auction ramp and loading ramp.
• Oversee yard layout and equipment line-up.
• Ensure sale site is safe and compliant with Ritchie Bros standards.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations of the sale location.
• Plan refurbishing schedule and budget; manage purchase orders and cost sheets.
• Liaise with subcontractors.
• Ensure equipment is sale-ready.
• Arrange directional, parking and yard signs.
• Ensure proper attachment removal.
• Ensure equipment has fuel, oil and anti-freeze.
• Responsible for daily supervision of operators and yard staff including scheduling of day of sale casual staff.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all corporate and legislated health and safety and environmental policies, regulations and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
