Job summary

Action Workforce Pty is seeking a casual Yardperson to operate in a busy transport yard in Queensland. You will load/unload general freight, containers, and trailers, with backup for Semi PUD work when required.

A HC or forklift license is essential, plus load restraint experience and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an hourly rate of $42.63+ per hour, with $44.25 for Semi Work, OT and superannuation, plus on-site training and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience with loading and unloading general freight and load restraint.
• Holds a current HC or forklift license with proven experience.
• Previous experience in a transport depot environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers, trucks and trailers in the yard.
• Provide backup for Semi PUD work when required.
• Follow safety procedures and load restraint guidelines.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a busy yard.
• Maintain organisation and assist in yard duties as needed.
