Job summary

We’re looking for an experienced and safety-focused Yard Loader/Driver to join our team at Maldon, NSW. In this hands-on role, you’ll spend your day operating a front-end loader, moving and loading materials around the yard and undertaking driving duties to help keep our operations moving.

You’ll be part of a supportive site team where safety comes first. If you enjoy operating heavy equipment, working outdoors and getting stuck into a varied role, this could be a great opportunity to join Boral

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader is highly regarded.
• Current driver’s licence and heavy vehicle licence for driving duties.
• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.
• Willingness to assist across yard and plant duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a front-end loader to load, move and manage materials around the site.
• Driving duties as required, ensuring safe and timely movement of materials and deliveries.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment pre-start checks.
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the yard and plant.
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
• General yard housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure safe and efficient site operations.

• Driving duties as required, ensuring safe and timely movement of materials and deliveries

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the yard and plant
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for?

• Experience operating a front-end loader is highly regarded
• Current driver’s licence and relevant heavy vehicle licence for the driving component of the role
• A strong commitment to safety and following site procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy operational environment
• Flexibility and willingness to assist across a range of yard and plant duties as required
• Experience within the concrete, quarrying, construction or heavy industry sectors will be highly regarded
