Job summary

Australian Workforce is partnering with a well-established automotive dealership in Penrith NSW to recruit a reliable Yard Hand for the Pre-Delivery team. This full-time, outdoor role involves receiving, inspecting, and moving new vehicles while keeping the yard tidy and secure.

Reporting to the Pre-Delivery Manager, you will assist with stock management from arrival through pre-delivery, inspect for damage, remove films, prepare vehicles, and coordinate movements.

Qualifications

• A current NSW manual driver's licence.
• Previous experience in a vehicle yard, dealership or detailing environment is highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and book in new vehicles delivered to the dealership.
• Check vehicles for transport damage and report any issues.
• Remove protective transport films.
• Complete battery preservation procedures.
• Fit stock numbers and prepare vehicles for pre-delivery.
• Organise and dispatch stock-swap vehicles to other dealerships.
• Move vehicles safely around the dealership and holding yard.
• Maintain a clean, secure and organised vehicle yard.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with other yard and operational duties as required.

Our client is a well-established multi-franchise automotive dealership inPenrith NSWand is currently seeking a reliable and motivatedYard Handto join theirPre-Delivery team.

This is a hands-on, primarily outdoor role where you will assist with receiving, inspecting, preparing and moving new vehicles while keeping the vehicle holding yard organised and secure.

About the Role

Reporting to the Pre-Delivery Manager, you will help manage new vehicle stock from the time it arrives at the dealership through to the pre-delivery process.
Your responsibilities will include inspecting vehicles, preparing stock, coordinating vehicle movements and ensuring all paperwork and yard operations are completed accurately and safely.
