Job summary

Buildsafe is seeking a reliable forklift operator for our Newcastle–Maitland warehouse. You will handle forklift operations, load trucks with equipment and components, and ensure loads are secure.

The role includes equipment maintenance, stock and inventory control, and general warehouse duties. A Forklift License and White Card are essential, MR License encouraged or willing to obtain one, and you must be able to work 40–50 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate forklift to move and load equipment and components

Minimum Requirements:

• Forklift License (Essential)
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) (Essential)
• MR License (or have a normal driver's license and be willing to get one!)
• Willing to work Mon to Fri, with an average availability of up to 40-50 hours a week
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and labour-intensive environment

About the role:

• Operating forklift
• Load trucks with required equipment and components according to the picking/gear list (heavy lifting involved) and ensure loads are secure
• Maintenance of equipment
• Stock and inventory control
• Cleaning and general warehouse duties
