Job summary

Buildsafe is seeking workers on the Sunshine Coast to load/unload trucks, transport, erect, and dismantle height-safety products at various sites. Immediate start for suitable candidates with a White Card and transport. Weekly pay and a bonus scheme are offered, with PPE provided (boots excluded).

Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment and should have or be willing to obtain necessary licences. Career progression opportunities exist to lead a crew.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry (Essential).
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) held or willing to obtain.
• MRI Licence (Desirable) or willingness to obtain.
• Basic Scaffold Licence (Desirable) or experience in height-safety industry.
• Current valid unrestricted Driver's Licence, and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Load & unload trucks; ensure all equipment is loaded and matches the gear list.
• Transport, erect, and dismantle site safety products.
• Submit reports, truck maintenance records, and work method statements as required.

About you

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry (Essential)
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• MRI Licence (Desirable) or willingness to obtain
• Basic Scaffold Licence (Desirable) or Experience in the height-safety industry
• Current valid unrestricted Driver's Licence, and own transport
• Willing to work Mon to Fri, with an average availability of up to 40-50 hours a week
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and labour-intensive environment

About the role

• Loading & unloading trucks, ensure all required equipment is loaded and components match the picking/gear list, ensure loads are secured
• Transporting, erecting, and dismantling of site safety products
• Submission of reports, truck maintenance records, work method statements and other documents as required
