Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Yardperson at our Forrestdale branch to own yard operations and coordinate movements of plant equipment. The role requires a current forklift licence, teamwork, safety focus and self-motivation.

Qualifications

A current Forklift Licence is required.
Demonstrated work experience in a similar position in construction/earthmoving would be highly regarded.
A safety focus to ensure the safety of yourself and peers.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Self-motivation with a focus on service.

Responsibilities

Own the activities of the yard and facilitate movements of Plant Machinery and Equipment.
Receive all new equipment and attachments into the yard area.
Maintain the general appearance of the yard and branch grounds in a clean and tidy state.
Assist in other branch-related duties as required.
