Job summary

Fletcher Building Limited in Tasmania is seeking a dedicated Yard/Drive Thru Assistant to support customers, load and unload goods, and process orders. You will also pick orders for delivery and help maintain stock accuracy.

This full-time role runs 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with forklift operation and adherence to safety standards. A people-focused approach and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and clean driving licence preferred.
• Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience.
• Physically fit with strong health and safety values.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Computer and numeracy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the timber yard and Drive Thru area.
• Load goods onto customer vehicles.
• Process customer orders and transactions.
• Pick orders for delivery when needed.
• Monitor inventory and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain an efficient warehouse with safe practices.
• Operate a forklift.
