Job summary

Coliban Water is seeking a Senior Operator to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of wastewater treatment facilities, including Water Reclamation Plants and the Bendigo Recycled Water Factory. You will oversee daily operations, maintenance activities, plant performance and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include monitoring systems, collecting data, coordinating repairs, managing sludge and chemical ordering, and ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Water Industry required.
• At least 5 years' relevant experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and record-keeping skills.

About you:

Required:

• Certificate III in Water Industry (or equivalent experience).

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the Victorian water industry.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, welding, concreting, corrosion protection, environmental management or weed spraying
