Job summary

Motion Henderson is seeking a motivated Workshop Trades Assistant to support everyday workshop tasks in a busy manufacturing environment. This casual role offers hands-on experience and a clear pathway toward a Fitter & Machinist Apprenticeship in 2027.

You will assist workshop crews with daily activities, help manufacture and assemble components, maintain a clean and safe workshop, and support stock control and paperwork. Prior trade exposure is helpful, but enthusiasm and reliability are key.

• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a hands-on workshop.

Responsibilities

• Assisting workshop crews with daily activities and job requirements.
