Job summary

MAX, part of Tabcorp, seeks a Workshop Technician in Edwardstown to repair and maintain gaming machines, diagnose faults, and improve reliability.

This full-time role reports to the Workshop Supervisor with a 7:00am–3:00pm schedule, focusing on accurate record-keeping, process improvement, and teamwork. Electronics repair experience and a Certificate II in Electronics are required.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in repairing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Certificate II in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Your role in action

This full-time role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and places you at the centre of technical excellence. With a Monday-Friday shift based around a flexible range of starting times around a standard 7:00am to 3:00pm, you'll enjoy afternoons free while making a real impact on the reliability and performance of our gaming machines.

  • Repair and maintain gaming machines to ensure consistent performance and reliability
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and deliver cost-effective technical solutions
  • Optimize workshop processes to improve turnaround times and service quality
  • Create accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and technical findings
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing insights and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve service and quality standards
What You'll Need To Succeed

You're someone who thrives on solving problems, working with precision, and growing your technical expertise. You'll bring curiosity, commitment, and a strong sense of teamwork to every challenge.

  • Experienced in repairing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment (or similar)
  • Certificate II in Electronics or an equivalent qualification highly regarded
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and stay organized
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams with accuracy
