Job summary

Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS) seeks qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our Townsville operations. This hands-on role covers routine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and major engine component rebuilds. You’ll work with a skilled team in a supportive, safety-focused environment, with opportunities to develop further.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Proven experience in maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles or fleets.
• Experience using computer-based diagnostic systems, or willingness to develop these skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and customer service.

To support our growing Townsville operations, we are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our experienced and close-knit team.

In this hands-on role, you'll enjoy a diverse range of work, from routine servicing and maintenance through to complex diagnostics, repairs, and major engine component rebuilds. No two days are the same, offering ongoing variety, challenge, and opportunities to further develop your skills.

The Skills & Experience we're looking for
