Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Fitter who has progressed to a coordinator/supervisor role. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of our workshop and provide hands-on leadership to the fitter team.

Responsibilities include allocating jobs, coordinating parts, conducting quality checks, maintaining safety standards, processing orders, and mentoring apprentices. A valid driver’s license and Construction White Card are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience leading a team of Fitters.
• Valid Driver's Licence is required.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not essential.

• Work with the Parts Coordinator to ensure parts and materials are ready.
• Conduct quality checks as required.
• Maintain workshop organisation and safety standards.
• Process orders, coordinate deliveries and maintain job records and documentation.

• Support and mentor the apprentices.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter who has stepped off the tools and moved into a coordinator/supervisor role.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our workshop. You will provide hands-on leadership to the fitter team, and drive a strong safety culture.

You will be expected to lead from the front and assist on the tools when required.

Key Responsibilities
