Job summary

Motion is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and high‑quality operation of our workshop. You will supervise activities, labour, and materials to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting technical and quality standards.

You will lead a team of about 15, coordinate workloads, monitor progress, and drive performance against KPIs. This hands‑on role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a collaborative

  • Well-developed fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment.
  • Have a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising workshop teams.
  • Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.

About the role
