Job summary

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is seeking a proactive Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop team in maintaining and servicing essential plant and equipment. You will ensure reliable support for community projects and services.

With extensive experience in supervising workshop services for a diverse fleet, you will drive safe, efficient operations, make practical recommendations on maintenance issues and uphold high quality standards across all activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supervising workshop services for heavy and light plant and equipment.
• Ability to lead and develop a workshop team to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out mechanical servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of heavy and light plant and equipment.
• Scheduling, monitoring and reporting on the maintenance and performance of the Shire's fleet.
• Supervising and supporting the Workshop team, including managing performance and quality of work.
• Ensuring Workshop activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• As Workshop Supervisor, you'll lead a team responsible for maintaining and servicing essential plant and equipment, ensuring reliable support for the projects and services that directly impact our community.
• Extensive previous experience in supervising and undertaking workshop services for a wide range of plant and equipment (heavy and light).
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations on complex plant operational and maintenance issues.
