Job summary

Coolamon Shire Council is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to supervise workshop operations and lead a team in maintaining mobile and fixed plant, vehicles and equipment. The role requires a minimum of three years of trade experience and solid leadership skills.

You will hold a current HR Licence, Motor Vehicle Inspector’s Certificate and a WHS White Card, with duties including ensuring quality repairs. A RDO cycle applies, with weekly pay and PPE provided as part of a supportive Local

Job description

Coolamon Shire Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the role of Workshop Supervisor.

This full time role will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality repairs and maintenance to mobile plant, fixed plant, vehicles and equipment within our organisation.

To be successful in this role, applicants should;

be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years trade experience

have solid leadership skills

Current HR Licence

Current Motor Vehicle Inspector’s Certificate

WHS White Card

This role will have limited use of a Council Vehicle, mobile phone and a regular RDO.

Salary range for this position is $1,223.90 - $1,346.01 per week dependent on qualifications and experience.
