Job summary

Apply Now is seeking an experienced Electrical Workshop Supervisor to lead and coordinate a multi-trade workshop in Australia. You will oversee assembly, testing, servicing and fault-finding of vibratory equipment, manage workflow and safety, and mentor a diverse team including apprentices.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical aptitude, trade qualifications and strong WHS knowledge. Overtime is available, providing a structured, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications with supervisory experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience coordinating workflow and managing multiple priorities with a solid understanding of WHS and safe work practices.
• Overhead crane experience is desirable and training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, mentoring and supporting a multi-trade workshop team, including Fitters, Painters, Coil Winders, Technicians and Apprentices.
• Coordinating daily workflow, labour allocation and timekeeping to drive productivity.
• Overseeing assembly, testing, servicing and fault-finding of company products.
• Managing workshop machinery maintenance, stock control, and loading/unloading with forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Leading a strong safety culture, ensuring WHS compliance and conducting risk assessments.

About The Opportunity

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Workshop Supervisor to oversee their workshop operations. This role involves leading a skilled team and ensuring that all manufacturing, assembly, servicing, testing, and despatch activities are executed efficiently and safely. Some of your responsibilities will include:
