You will drive efficiency, maintain safety standards and ensure accurate workshop administration while coordinating with service advisors and technicians to deliver outstanding results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Workshop Controller or automotive operations role.
• Demonstrated leadership, organisation and time management skills.
• Experience coordinating teams and managing workshop workflow.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong administration and computer skills.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Current Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate work to maximise workshop efficiency and productivity.
• Manage daily workshop operations, workflow and job scheduling.
• Oversee technician rostering, leave planning and team coordination.
• Identify training and development opportunities for workshop staff.
• Monitor workshop performance, efficiency and productivity metrics.
• Ensure job cards, documentation and administrative processes are completed accurately.
• Coordinate parts requirements and sublet repairs.
• Maintain high standards of workshop organisation, cleanliness and safety.
• Lead toolbox meetings and support performance management activities.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts and Management teams to deliver outstanding results.
